big brother is watching you

F*ck big government!
BIG BROTHER, please GIVE ME SOME SPACE…
Did you notice anything unusual about the song? The verse is actually out of key which was intentional on my part. It reflects the reality of our current situation, which is anything but harmonious. There’s nothing “in key” about the government’s mass surveillance programs. There’s nothing “in key” about losing our free will to the algorithms of Big Tech. There’s nothing “in key” about giving a significant portion of our money to the government without receiving anything positive in return. And there’s nothing “in key” about our political culture, which is rife with toxic polarization and corruption contributing to the trend of societal demoralization. History shows that the prosperous periods of empires rarely extend beyond 250 years, and America is nearing that mark at 248 years. We MUST break this cycle.
There is a strong tendency of governments to get bigger and more corrupt over time. This automatically leads to inefficiencies in spending, restrictions of our freedoms and the prioritization of private over public interest. I see this pattern in our current system and fear that future generations may not recognize America FOR ITS IDEALS OF GREATNESS, EQUALITY OF OPPORTUNITY, FREEDOM AND RESILIENCE, where people from all walks of life CAN achieve their dreams and drive positive change.
Let’s start the conversation!
I believe we need to place greater emphasis on discussing the dangers of government control, the state of our current governance, and the future of this republic. It is imperative that we stand together against government overreach and the infringement on our civil and property rights. The government knows that creating divisiveness amongst the public in the form of red and blue camps diverts our attention from their questionable operations. Hence, it is imperative that we, the people, unite against government practices that are leading to the decline of this republic.
Let’s start thinking about the next 5, 10, 50, or even 100 years, as only long-term thinking can guarantee the survival of our republic.
